Man wounded by machete wielding woman
In other crime news, a Belize City man is tonight recovering from chop wounds inflicted by an angry woman. Twenty-two year old Elbert Anderson told police that around 7:30 on Wednesday night he was buying boledo at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Freedom Street when he was accosted by a woman be knew, who just happened to be wielding a small machete. Anderson says the woman, for no apparent reason, began to chop him, leaving him with cuts to the back, left cheek and ear. Police are looking for the suspect.
