Police constable arrested for theft
In crime news, a member of the police force has been placed under arrest and charged with theft. It is alleged that constable Robert Williams tried to wap (dupe) a fellow officer out of his share of a seven hundred and ninety-six dollar paycheck that was made out in both officers’ names. Williams will go to trial on October tenth and, pending the outcome, has been placed on interdiction.
