Hip-hop artist releases new CD

With September celebrations just around the corner it’s a time when Belizean recording artists like to release their new music. True to form we were visited this week by one singer promoting a fresh CD.

Since 1996, Len Berzerk has been singing hip-hop. Today, the twenty-seven year old artist is promoting his latest CD, Reality Strikes.

“It’s a follow up to an album I did last year, Da Real Side. You get eighteen cuts up here, you got a couple of artists from New York and Belize as well featured on the album.”

“This kind of music is more for the younger people. It’s fun, like if you get into our world, you could party, you could vibe, you could dance. Then you got the lee gangster music weh the lee young ones weh di come up roughly they like, the smooth ones weh the peaceful people them like, cuts up here that the adults could listen to… but it’s all positive vibes.”
