Suspect sought in taximan’s murder
They found the body late yesterday evening and today police are looking for a suspect in the murder of a Corozal taxi driver. Thirty-six year old Samuel Carter had been missing for almost two days when his corpse was discovered around 6:00 p.m. outside of Corozal Town on the road to the Progresso ferry. Police say the body, which has yet to be post-mortemed, displayed what appear to be stab wounds to the back and stomach. Police have not released particulars of the suspect being sought.
