2 Men Busted with Gun in Belmopan

Police made a bust today in Belmopan in which two men were arrested.  During a joint operation before three o’clock this afternoon, a vehicle was searched between miles forty-eight and forty-nine on the George Price Highway. Forty-year-old taxi driver of Belama Phase One in Belize City, Deon Flowers was driving the vehicle and travelling with him was thirty-five-year-old Godwin Strawn, a tattoo artist of Sand Hill village, Belize District. Inside the vehicle, police found a point thirty-eight revolver and one live round of ammunition.  Both persons were arrested and charged for kept unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
