M&S Nightclub Robbed
On Wednesday morning sometime after one, a lone robber targeted the M and S Nightclub in Saint Matthews Village. According to Police, the owner was inside the business and was closing up when a man walked him and attacked him. The robber made off with a cell-phone, a turn-table music system and a vehicle. But quick action by the cops led to the recovery of all the stolen items. And police were quick to catch and charge the thief; he is twenty-three-year-old Santos Eduardo Lopez, a construction worker of Harmonyville. ACP Joseph Myvett says that the brazen attack landed the business owner in the hospital.

“The proprietor of M & S Night Club located in St Matthews Village was closing his business when he was attacked by a Hispanic male person with a stick who inflicted several injuries to him before robbing him. Also stolen in the process was his van which was later recovered in Harmonyville. Intense police investigation into this matter has led to the detention of one person and all properties that were stolen have been recovered and it is expected that he will be charged later today.”
