Small Drug Bust in the West
Following a massive drug and firearm bust in northern Belize, police operations led to a smaller, but significant seizure of drugs in the west. This morning, police conducted a search in a busy area of the Casa Maya Road in San Ignacio. They retrieved a bag loaded with seven point four kilos of cannabis which is equivalent to sixteen point three pounds. The bag of drugs was abandoned so no one was charged.
