Tacos Vendor Robbed of Day’s Sales
Armed robbers also struck in the north side of the city. The first occurred around ten a.m. at mile two and a half on the Phillip Goldson Highway. Tacos vendor Geisy Molina says that a thief who posed as a customer approached and ordered tacos; he said he would return to pick up his order. He did, ten minutes later but with a gun tucked in the waist of his pants. Fearing for her life, Molina handed over a black cash pan that contained the days sales amounting to three hundred dollars.

“A tacos vendor while she was standing at her stall, she was approached by a male persons who ordered some tacos. The male person left from the business and walked a little bit ahead and then came back. When she went to offer him the tacos, he raised up his shirt and showed her what appeared to be a firearm and demanded that she hand over what she has. As a result, she handed over three hundred dollars in cash. The male person then made good his escape.”
