P.M. to Guyana for Heads of Gov’t meeting
Prime Minister Said Musa left Belize today for Guyana to meet with Caribbean leaders as part of the twenty-third regular meeting of the conference of Heads of Government. While in Guyana, Musa will discuss the regional strategic tourism plan, the task force on crime security and the Caribbean approach to achieve and maintain access to anti-retroviral drugs for AIDS patients. The PM’s trip is a double header, as he will also attend the Forward Together Conference with civil society representatives from the Caribbean. The Belize delegation includes Senators Fred Hunter Senior and Margaret Ventura and Devon Gabourel of SPEAR.
