U.S. Air begins flights November 9th

It was announced last month amid great fanfare and today the starting date for service by U.S. Airways was officially made public. The airline has received U.S. government approval to fly four days each week between Belize City and U.S. Air’s hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Those flights will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, departing Charlotte at 10:40 a.m. and arriving in Belize at 1:10 in the afternoon. Departure from Belize is set for 2:00, with arrival in Charlotte at 6:00. Service begins on November ninth and is expected to greatly increase Belize’s ability to draw tourists from the U.S. east coast as well as facilitate Belizeans travelling in the opposite direction.
