Hitmen on bikes murder Bz. City man
Around 7:00 on Saturday night a hail of bullets rang out along West Canal in Belize City. By the time the shooting was over, twenty-five year old Darrel Anthony “Bagga” Jones lay on the ground in a pool of blood. Witnesses in the area told News 5 that Jones was by the Quack Spot Club when two men on bicycles rode up to him and fired about eight shots. Jones, hit six times in his upper chest, right hand and right leg, died on the way to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. When the police visited the scene they found four expended nine-millimetre shells. Authorities would not comment on the motive for the murder, but say they are looking for Eric Savery and Sheldon Tillett whom they believe can help them in their investigation.
