Twenty-eight certificates were last night presented to deserving students in poetry, dance, choral speaking, music and drama. Eighteen schools took home the gold, nine silvers and one bronze. One of Grace Primary’s golden performances was a dance titled “Whatever.”

St. Joseph Primary won one gold and two silvers. Choral speaking “God in a Hurricane” won the gold.

Other stellar renditions came from Holy Redeemer, Calvary Temple, Coda String Studio and Wesley Upper. Ann-Marie Williams for News 5.

Next week there will be four golden nights from Tuesday to Friday. Tickets are available at the Belize Arts Council and at the door at Parish Hall.
