Where Did High-Powered Rifle Come From?
Investigators are trying to figure out where a high-powered rifle retrieved in Orange Walk originated from. As we reported on Wednesday, Orange Walk Police discovered an AR-Fifteen, five-point five-six rifle in a cane field about two miles west of the northern road airstrip. The firearm was found with five rounds of ammunition. The northern section of the country is being kept under close surveillance due to the recent drug plans landings. Police have sent the firearm to be examined in order to determine whether the rifle may be linked to any of the recent landings.
