Gwen Liz High looks for students
It’s that time of the year when standard six students, about to leave primary school behind them, must decide on a future educational path. News 5’s Jacqueline Woods today visited one more high school hoping to attract worthy students.

Today Gwen Lizarraga High School opened its gates to their special guests who viewed a number of displays that were put together by the school’s staff and student body.

“Here today you can see at the open day that most students, mostly second, third and fourth, are producing and laying out their projects, so that others who came in to this open house, as we call it today, can focus and see what natural talents that we have.”
The young prospective students say they were impressed with what they saw at the school, but some had already decided on what high School they will attend.

“Amira have you decided on what high school you will be attending?”

“Yes ma’am, E.P. Yorke.”

“Why E.P. Yorke?”

“Because I think that there will be more interesting things to do there.”

“So do you plan on attending Gwen Liz, or you haven’t made that choice?”

“I haven’t made that choice yet, but I will see if I could come to Gwen Liz.”

“But from what you’ve seen so far, do you like it?”
