Acrobatic circus prepares for Belizean crowd
If you are looking for something to do this weekend it might be worth your while to take a swing by the Pallotti roundabout where a visiting circus has set up shop. The big top, in the form of a large blue tent, will feature the performers of the Grand Chinese Circus. Today News 5 stopped by, where we found manager Edmundo Pineda, who says the acrobatic show is sure to throw Belizeans for a loop.

“It’s like one of the best Chinese circus. The performers are direct from China, from Beijing. It’s a two hours from Beijing, the little town is Chon Do.”
“Well I tell you its one hundred percent Chinese stuff. It’s acrobatics, swinging trapeze, all that.”
Twenty-five acrobats will take to the air during the various performances. If you would like to attend the circus this weekend, on Saturday there will two shows at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. And on Sunday, shows will be held at 11:00 a.m., 5:00 p.m. and 7:30p.m.
