French tourist killed, run over by skiff
A French tourist is dead after being run over by a boat. Fifty-six year old Josaine Fernande was snorkelling off the leeward side of Southwater Caye on Tuesday when she was struck by a skiff. The boat’s operator, sixty-two year old Samuel Martinez, a chef at the island’s Blue Marlin Lodge, has been charged with manslaughter by negligence.
