Chico Ramos, Punta Rock Artist
“I got a call from one of my supporters, who told me I should make a song for the kids, something positive for the kids. When I got back to New York, as a co-incidence my son came home with a pen which says “school first, babies later”, and I said this is it.
This album has a lot of positive messages, so we really want them to listen to the lyrics, because the music is good already, but this album really wants the people to listen to the lyrics. We have some positive lyrics on this CD. The real message on this album is school first and the second message is wear your gloves, due to the AIDS crisis. That’s the main thing we’re gonna put on this CD, and maybe five months from now, we’re going to do campus tour and that’s the message we’re gonna take to the school.”
Chico’s new album is available at record stores countrywide.
