A.M. drive-by hold-up leaves man short of cash
Police are also investigating a drive by hold-up reported in Belize City. According to thirty-one year old William James, around 6:30 Wednesday morning, he was walking on Vernon Street when a car with darkly tinted windows drove up alongside him. James says as he turned to look at the car, the driver’s window rolled down and he found himself staring into the barrel of a gun. A man sitting in the front passenger seat then got out and relieved James of just over five hundred dollars he was carrying at the time. The men then drove off. The gunman and his sidekick have yet to be detained by police.
