Shoman attends UK-Caribbean forum in Guyana
A Belizean delegation is currently in Guyana attending the third United Kingdom Caribbean forum. Head of the Belizean mission is Minister of Foreign Affairs, Assad Shoman. While in Guyana’s capital, Georgetown, Shoman and other foreign ministers will meet with the UK’s Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Jack Straw. Topics on the table for discussion vary from finance and investment to education and culture, health and security, as well as the state of UK relations with the Caribbean. The Belizeans return to the country on Friday.
