Tourist injured in boating mishap
In another maritime tragedy, a U.S. tourist was injured when he was hit by a motorboat. Fifty-one year old Larry Kelly of the state of Oregon was among a group of six people learning how to dive Wednesday afternoon in the waters off San Pedro when a skiff entered the area and ran him over. Kelly was taken to the town’s health clinic and later transferred to the K.H.M.H. where four large cut wounds to his arm were operated on. Police are questioning Jorge Escalante, the captain of the boat “Coral Princess”.
