Police look for suspect in aggravated assault case

Story PictureIn other news, Police are looking for a suspect in relation to the aggravated assault of a mechanic of the Port Loyola Area. Around eleven Wednesday night, nineteen year old Dwane King was sitting in his home at the corner of McKay Boulevard and Electric Avenue when a male person on a bicycle wearing a red cap stopped in front of his house. King says that the man then took out what appeared to be a chrome revolver and fired several shots at him before fleeing the scene. King escaped unhurt. And today when News Five spoke with Officer Commanding of the C.I.B., Superintendent Julio Valdez he said that the police are looking for a suspect.

“We received information of shots being fired at the corner of McKay Boulevard and Electric Avenue. Police responded to the area where a person made a report to us—a Mister Dwane King—reported that he was standing in front of his house when the person passed, approached him and took out a handgun and fired some shots at him.

“Does he know who would have wanted him dead or anything of that sort?”

“I’m not sure if he knew who, but the matter is under investigation. At this time, we are looking for one we believe who did the shooting. We are looking for a suspect right now.
