Eyewitness Say Jackson was not Boisterous

While that is the official police version of events, an eyewitness told News Five that Nelson Jackson was not being boisterous. Elizabeth Williams was nearby when the incident occurred. She says that it was the police officers who began aggressing Jackson.

 

On the Phone: Elizabeth Williams, Witness

“The police man said something to Mr. Nelson but I did not hear what he said. The Mr. Nelson answered something. I did not hear as well. The police who was driving the mobile, he slammed open the door on Mr. Nelson. So Mr. Nelson he walked away. The police followed right behind Mr. Nelson. Mr. Nelson said, ‘fire a shot then or shoot me then’. And the police followed him across the street. Mr, Nelson repeated the same word. The police fired a shot on the street, on the ground. This was the first shot. Then Mr. Nelson walked away and he followed Mr. Nelson and shot h im on his leg. Then Mr. Nelson dropped on the group.”
