Police Constable Perishes in Fatal RTA Down South

A police officer lost his life in a road traffic accident in Punta Gorda late this evening. Sometime between four and five o’clock, Police Constable Kenyon Pandy and WPC Zuniga were travelling in a vehicle when they met in an accident near the dump just outside of Punta Gorda. Pandy succumbed to his injuries, while the other cop is reported to be in a critical condition. Police have not yet released an official report on the incident, so details are sketchy at this time. The cause of the accident has not been confirmed, nor who was behind the driver’s wheel. PC Pandy is stationed at the Belmopan Police Station.
