Missing Man Found Alive and Well

Benson Jerry Butler

Benson Jerry Butler was found alive and in good health over the weekend. The fifty-three-year-old resident of West Lake Area of Western Paradise Village had been reported missing last week after his family and friends did not hear from him since December second.  That was when he had left home en route to Belize City to run an errand. According to police, Butler was found in Belize City.

“I again thank the police officers and this demonstrates to us that the police officers are vigilant on the streets because it caught their attention as they saw this person. That is where they went and saw him and identified him as one of the missing persons we had reported during the week. He also had signs from dehydration and also we can see that he is suffering from some kind of delusion. He again was treated by the police, given food assistance, water and thereafter we contacted the family. He was handed over to his loved ones.”
