Who shot Alvin Lopez?

Police in Hopkins Village are investigating a shooting incident which left forty-five-year-old Alvin Lopez injured. Lopez was inside his home in the village when he heard gunshots. He told police that it happened early this morning sometime after midnight, as he was entering his bedroom. He received a gunshot wound to the knee. Police told us more today.

“Initial police investigation is that Mr. Lopez was inside his house along with other family members when he heard a noise. Shortly after that he heard a barrage of shots being fired and thereafter realized he was injured. Police arrived at the scene and transported him at the hospital where he was discharged this morning.”

Lopez’s nine-year-old son was in the house at the time of the shooting. He was unhurt.
