“Upon arrival, the proprietor of the establishment reported that whilst he was inside his establishment, two male persons, one armed with a knife and another with a handgun entered his establishment. As a result, they stole from him six hundred dollars in cash and his licensed firearm. The owner of the establishment is Mr. Ching Wu Tan, a Belizean national.”
Tonight, nineteen Edward Saldano of Euphrates Avenue is spending his first night on remand following the robbery of Chingwu Tan. But Saldano told the court that at the time of the alleged robbery, he had just left his house when he was arrested by the cops. The Magistrate denied him bail and remanded him into custody until March seventh, 2019. While Saldano is facing charges, his partner in crime has not been charged. Saldano has a number of cases pending before the court for which he was out on bail including one for handling stolen goods.
