Man Chops Up Uncle in Valley of Peace

A chopping in Valley of Peace last Friday night has left one man without three of his fingers and with chop wounds to the back.  Police were called out to a shop in the village where a man was attacked by his nephew with a machete. ACP Joseph Myvett says the man has now gone into hiding and they are looking for him.

“They observed thirty-three-year-old Angel Cerritos with chop wounds to the back and three of his fingers severed from his left hand. According to him, while he was socializing at a shop he was approached by his nephew who inflicted those injuries to him for no reason to him. Police is seeking his nephew in regards to his investigation.”

“Sir, no motive at all?”

“None at all as from what was reported by him is that he and his nephew had no previous misunderstanding.”

“Any alcohol involved?”

 

ACP Joseph Myvett

“Could have been but we would have to establish that. According to the uncle, he and his nephew were at no point drinking together.”

“You said you are looking for the nephew – is there any indication that he may have left the village or do you believe he is hiding right there in the valley peace of area?”

 

ACP Joseph Myvett

“We do not know but we do know that the police have been there several times in search of him and so far they are unable to locate him.”
