Chinese businesswoman robbed at gunpoint
Also in crime news from the west, a Chinese businesswoman has been robbed at gunpoint by two men. According to police reports, thirty year old Zhong Cai Mei of Santa Elena Town was in her store on the Western Highway around 9:30 p.m. when two men walked in and one of them pointed a handgun at her. The men demanded money and while one held the gun to her the other searched the store and took an undisclosed sum of money from the cash drawer. Both men then ran away. Police have yet to detain any suspects.
