Muffles College Teacher Battling Termination Following Leaked Nude Pictures

The fate of a Muffles College teacher is in limbo tonight following the dissemination of her nude pictures in December 2018.  It appears that the pictures were leaked, without her permission or knowledge. The fourth form teacher was asked to resign, but she did not act on that request. She was placed on administrative leave as the school prepares its case to present to the Board of Governors. According to Chief Education Officer, Doctor Carol Babb, the ministry is aware of the issue but at this point, it is an internal issue for the school.

“It is under investigation and remember that we have to remind the general public that these secondary schools are managed by the board. We, as the Ministry, can’t really interfere until the board has done their investigation and then when they have done their investigation they have to make a recommendation to us. We haven’t got that recommendation as yet.”

“No, after. The board has to meet. The board has to make a recommendation and then that goes to the Teaching Services Commission. But the board has to deal with it first.”

We understand that the teacher has asked the B.N.T.U. to defend her case. The union is currently reviewing two letters that the school sent to the teacher. The teacher’s position is that the pictures were circulated with malicious intent to tarnish her reputation and destroy her career.
