Devon Faber is Targeted in a Drive-by Shooting

About an hour before the murder of Shawn Hemmans on Saint Thomas Street, in Belize City, shots rang out on Westlake Park Street in the Eight Miles Community on the George Price Highway. Around six p.m. on Sunday, Devon Faber had just arrived home when an SUV drove up and opened fire. He was shot to the arm and was rushed to the K.H.M.H. where he was treated and released. Today, police gave details on the gun violence.

“He was observed with apparent gunshot wound to his body. We understand that he was treated and released on that same night after being attended by the medical doctors. We understand that just before six, he arrived at his residence and whilst in the compound, a vehicle slowed down and someone from inside the vehicle fired several shots in his direction that caused the injury to him. Police have spoken to him, however, he cannot establish the identity of his attacker.”
