Local foods make fine holiday gifts
In her search for high quality locally made Christmas products, Ann-Marie today returned to familiar territory, checking out a line of foods and condiments that are as Belizean as rice and beans.

Marie Sharp’s proud products of Belize, grace many supermarket shelves both at home and abroad. And this Christmas they’re going fast. In Save-U Supermarket, many of the gift packs of pepper sauces have already sold out. That’s according to Verna James, purchasing manager at the store.

“You have the hot, fiery hot, beware, no wimps, mild and the extra, extra hot. All the Marie Sharp products are fast sellers. Everything, especially the gift packs, they make great gifts if everybody wants a gift to take abroad.”
