Patrick Faber, Minister of Education
“As you know I have kind of stayed back and allowed my C.E.O. and the senior officials of the Ministry of engage. I do know that we have been engaging with them on all the issues. This includes the issue of finalizing hardship allowances also the issue of dealing with those items on the collective bargaining negotiations which are education centered. Primary among those are the four community schools that we are giving the option to come under full government proprietorship now. As far as I know those matters are all progressing. I think we are at the point now where we are trying to have these meeting with the various stakeholders for the four schools. Those decisions we are hoping can go on quickly so that we are able to bring all this together and conclude the collective bargaining negotiation as well as put into effect hardship allowances in particularly that we are in discussion about.”
