Minister of Education Denounces Cyber Bullying

While the Attorney General is looking at ways to combat cyber bullying through the passage of legislation, Minister of Education Patrick Faber says it is equally important to discourage the production and sharing of pornographic images.  The Deputy Prime Minister supports all initiatives to help the teenage minor through this difficult ordeal.

“I can quarrel with anything like that; she does need all the support.  I really think that those who are engaged in this kind of business of exchanging nudes and all of that and embarrassing people it‘s mean-spirited.  It‘s not something that I would condone and certainly I don‘t condone it when it comes to our children in school and that is just something that we want to ask people not to do altogether.”
