An Electrician is Electrocuted in Benque Viejo
An electrician lost his life on Sunday morning when he was shocked to death while welding. William Vasquez accidentally made contact with a high voltage wire and was electrocuted. According to police, the thirty-one-year-old was in the company of another man when the incident happened in Benque Viejo Town. Here’s more on what happened.

“There was one other matter in Benque Viejo which on yesterday’s date sometime around 10:45 a.m. police were called to an area in Benque Viejo known as Chial where they observed the body of a Hispanic male later identified as William Vasquez, thirty-one-years-old of a San Martin area address in Belmopan City who was motionless. According to investigation, the deceased was along with another person doing welding when apparently he accidentally held on to a 210-voltage wire which electrocuted him. His body was transported to the Western Regional Hospital and a post mortem is currently being done.”
