Was There Negligence in Fatal Electrocution Case in the West?
On Monday we reported about thirty-one-year-old William Vasquez who was killed while working on a construction site on the Chial Road. Reports are that Vasquez accidentally made contact with a high voltage wire and was electrocuted, but there are allegations that there is some negligence on the work-site that led to his death. Today we spoke with his nephew off camera, and he shared more about what they know happened. He says that Vasquez, who works in the steel business, left home in San Martin early on Sunday morning and went to work with a friend.

“He was working apparently in Maya Flatts resort in Succotz and he went to his job site. One statement that the police give is that well there was crossfire between the current that he mal-connected and the other guy’s negligence from their side weh neva help he with disconnection off the breaker box because of the big shock. Apparently well, we have to look at it as an accident and that it was actually an accidental – yeah, it was that he died when a cardiac pulse from his heart stopped with the shock.”
