Another shopkeeper shot in Dangriga

In more crime news from the south, a Dangriga bar owner lies in serious condition after he was shot last night in a robbery attempt. Police report that thirty-six year old Desidora Maldonado was shot in the left side of his chest around 10:30 after he failed to comply with an armed assailant’s demand for money. This was despite the fact that, according to witnesses, the gunman who wore a mask, has previously fired a shot into an area occupied by five of the bar’s customers. Police believe that the perpetrator of the crime is one Mark Mossiah, and are asking the help of citizens to report his whereabouts. Mossiah is also a prime suspect in last week’s murder of well know Dangriga businessman, Woolrich McKenzie.
