Villager dead in hit and run
The body of a man found lying on the Northern Highway has been classified as a victim of hit and run. Police say that on Monday officers were called to the village of San Jose where they saw a Hispanic man lying on the road with multiple head and body injuries. The man, identified as Manuel Uh of San Jose, was transported to the Orange Walk hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police have yet to identify the driver of the vehicle that hit Uh.
