4 Men are Behind bars for Breaking into the Home of a Cop
Four Belize City men who are accused of attempting to break into the home of a police officer and another residence are on remand at the Belize City Central Prison. They are Stanley Flowers, Deon Baltazar, Whitfield Fisher and Shemar Castillo. The foursome tried to enter the home of P.C. Jacinto Roaches located in Sunset Park, Western Paradise and were all charged for two counts of attempted burglary. Castillo and Fisher were additionally charged for aggravated assault upon Roaches while Flowers was charged with one count of theft. The four men were captured on surveillance camera attempting to break into the house of the cop on March fourteenth, 2019. They are also accused of another attempted burglary at the home of Denise Smith also in Sunset Park, Western Pines on the same day. The men claimed in court that they were beaten by the police and Flowers told the court that the charges were fabricated since on the day of the incident they were hunting. The four denied any wrongdoing and the prosecution objected to bail which was upheld by Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford.
