2 Brothers in O.W are Charged with Attempted Murder
Police say that they have charged two brothers for attempted murder in Orange Walk. The incident happened on Saturday, February twenty-third when the Diaz brothers entered a man’s property where they started an argument with him. During the dispute, one of the brothers chopped him up. Police say there is nothing to show if the men had a dispute before. ACP Joseph Myvett tells us more about the chopping incident and the charges.

“Orange Walk Police responded to information of a chopping incident and visited the Northern Regional Hospital where the met one Gonzalo Flota with several chop wounds to the body. Police investigations so far reveal that Mr. Flota was at his home along with his brother when they were approached by two Hispanic males who started an argument. As a result one of those male persons inflicted the said injuries to Mr. Flota. Police have since arrested and charged Pablo Diaz and Ignacio Diaz both for the crimes of attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm and the crime of dangerous harm.”
