…but Muffles College High School Fails to Reinstate Teacher
According to Chief Education Officer, Doctor Carol Babb, a letter will be sent to the school’s principal Margaret Johnston, advising her to honour the Commission’s ruling and reinstate the teacher. If Principal Johnston refuses, Doctor Babb says that the ministry will sanction the school.

“The request that Muffles College made, they were asking for retirement in the best interest of the teacher, or in the best interest of the school but that request was not approved by the Commission. So if they did not get approval it then means that they should reinstate the teacher and I will talk to Ms. Johnston with her on what should be done.”

“How soon will that happen?”
Dr. Carol Babb
“I will talk with her this afternoon and I am hoping that they will reinstate the teacher by Monday.”

“And if that does not happen?”
Dr. Carol Babb
“Then the Ministry will have to deal with them and there will be sanctions.”
Hipolito Novelo
“Does the board or the principal have any legal standing to not allow her on the grounds?”
Dr. Carol Babb
“She should have been reinstated based on the advice of the Commission and so I am going to talk with Mrs. Johnston and I am hoping that the teacher will be reinstated by Monday.”
