Cocaine from biggest bust destroyed at sea
Over three thousand, three hundred pounds of cocaine, the proceeds of Belize’s biggest drug bust, were destroyed by police early this morning. The heavily guarded operation was carried out at sea with the white powder dissolved in salt water and sent to sleep with the fishes. The drugs were confiscated on the morning of October ninth in Belize City. Four Mexicans and one Belizean have been charged with drug trafficking and are on remand at Hattieville Prison.
