Four Mexicans charged for firearms
Four armed Mexicans who landed their plane at an airstrip in the Orange Walk District have been formally arraigned in court. Ricardo Ruiz, Rafael Juarez, Jesus Urino, and Oscar Ramos have all been charged with possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition. They were intercepted by police on the afternoon of October seventeenth at the Blue Creek airstrip carrying three pistols and sixty-nine rounds of ammo. They also carried close to twenty-five thousand dollars in U.S. currency.
