Vince Martinez Plans to Sue the Police Department

Vince Martinez

According to Martinez, he was first taken to Precinct One and later allowed to visit the K.H.M.H for treatment. He says that he has reported the matter to the Professional Standards Branch and plans to consult a lawyer as he is considering a civil suit against the Belize Police Department.

“So they made I use the bathroom at the DVU. I looked at the situation and I told them I need to go to the hospital. I have a big hole in front of me. They came to conclusion. I told them to just take me to my cycle. They gave me a medical form. When they took me to my cycle, I got my cycle and that is the way I headed to the hospital.”

“I have already been there. They have the original copy of the medical form. I have intention of seeing an attorney today to see how we can solve this matter with a civil suit or something.

Martinez was released without any charges.
