5 Suspects Being Sought for Murder of Lindon Baldwin
Belize City police are looking for five persons in connection with the murder of Lindon Baldwin who was shot and killed on Monday night on Ebony Street. According to investigators Baldwin’s execution may have been the result of an ongoing feud between rival factions in the Conch Shell Bay neighborhood.

“On Tuesday morning, just after 7:30 a.m., police were called to the corner of Youth for the Future Drive and Ebony Street, whereupon police’s arrival they observed the motionless body of a male person who was later identified as Lindon Baldwin of an Ebony Street address. He was seen at the back of the yard facing Mangrove Street with apparent gunshot wounds to the body. What police gathered so far is that on Monday night he was along with a group of male persons socializing in front of a business establishment on Youth for the Future Drive and thereafter he was seen walking under a house and that is when he was along with a group of male persons and one of the persons in the group fired several shots in his direction, causing his death.”

“What we understand is that there is a feud between a group of male persons from the Ebony Street area with those persons from the Conch Shell Bay area and this is what we suspect may have caused what might have led to the death of this person because he is one of the persons who associates with the group from Conch Shell Bay.”
