Story Picture
To demonstrate its ongoing commitment to service, despite the impending loss of monopoly in 2003, BTL today inaugurated a new customer service centre in Belize City. C.E.O. Tesecum says that customers will be able to use the facility to access all of BTL’s services.

“We have been gradually renovating our offices. San Ignacio for example, opened services in a new centre downtown on the main street in San Ignacio. In Belize City itself, you will notice for example the Albert Cattouse Building has already been improved, so has this building here as well, the whole of this compound. Our aim is to try to provide a better working environment and an improved environment for our customers as well, where we can do businesses in a more comfortable manner. This is not the only thing we are doing. We will continue doing this through the country of Belize. Shortly we’ll be opening the offices in Caye Caulker, and we also plan to have a new office in Orange Walk as well.”

“With respect to the customer service centre here, that means in the future of customers have any complaints or queries they should come to this centre on St. Thomas Street.

“Certainly, those people that can find it very convenient can come to this side and will be able to come and make their complaints here. We will have customer services reps that will be able to help them, and it provides a whole facility of service. For example, international service will be available, our cashier operations, Internet services, email, every thing is housed in this centre as well as, so that we can provide a one stop kind of shopping centre for our customers.”

The Belize City customer service centre is located in the compound of BTL’s corporate headquarters on St. Thomas Street.
