B.E.L. gives $32,000 in scholarships
Over the next two years Belize Electricity Limited will be offering thirty-two thousand dollars in tuition scholarships for Belizean students to attend the University of Belize. The scholarships, four for associate degrees and four for bachelor degrees, will be awarded based on academic merit, financial need and character of students. The recipients must also complete forty hours of community service per semester. The scholarships are tenable for two years. Application forms can be obtained from U.B. campuses countrywide. The deadline for submission is August third.
