Belize, ranked at number 54, is slowly moving up in the world as last year we came in at 58. Norway topped the human development list, while the USA placed 6th. Barbados, at number 31, was the highest ranking Caribbean nation, Jamaica placed 78th, Mexico came in 51st, while Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala ranked 106, 107 and 108 respectively.
