Robbers hit in Ladyville, Belize City
In crime news the Shell station at the airport cutoff was robbed Wednesday night. Two armed men wearing masks held up two attendants for an undisclosed amount of cash. A security guard tried to follow them but gave up after they fired a couple of shots. In another jacking that afternoon a gas truck making a delivery on Magazine Road was hit by two men, one armed with a nine-millimeter pistol. The driver was relieved of three hundred dollars in cash, property of Belize Western Energy. No suspects have yet been apprehended in either case.
