Three year old drowns in Haulover Creek
Another apparent drowning occurred, this time the victim is a toddler. Foster mother Sandra Santos, of 2 1/2 miles Northern Highway, told police that Anthony Gentle, her three year old foster son went missing sometime around 4:00pm on Thursday. That night an intensive search of the area turned up Gentle’s body around 10:30 in the Haulover Creek near a skiff moored at Martin’s Marina. The body awaits a postmortem.
