Ladyville man sought in hold-up

Police are asking viewers to assist them in capturing a suspect wanted for stealing over a thousand dollars in cash and merchandise. His name is Reggie Patnett of Ladyville. Police say Patnett was among a group of five men who robbed a fruit shop belonging to Sabeina Teniate at mile eight and a half on the Northern Highway. Teniate told police that on Friday afternoon she was in her shop when five men ordered and paid for a bag of kennep with a ten dollar bill. In the process of getting their change, one of the men stuck a gun in Teniate’s side while the others took her son hostage, stripped her neck of three gold chains and stole cash and goods. All five men escaped, but police say that Patnett was identified as one of the gang. If you know his whereabouts please call the nearest police station.
